Hi there, the May-June block is wrapping up, and the feedback from parents has been extraordinary. Week after week I have watched children arrive at the session a little uncertain, and leave with something that is very hard to put into words. Confidence is the closest word, but it is not quite right. It is more like belonging. They belong on a golf course. They belong in sport. They have found a home in movement.
That is what we are building. And the summer gives us a rare opportunity to keep the momentum going, because children who stop moving over the school holidays do not simply pause. They regress. The window we have right now, especially at ages 2 to 5, is short and genuinely precious.
That is why this week I want to tell you about our Summer Programme at Bloom Academy in Al Barsha, and why I would encourage any family with a child in that age group to grab one of the last remaining spots before they are gone.

The Tournament Result Does Not Mean What You Think It Does
My new article - My Number Two Tip for Junior Golfers - is now live. If there is one belief I would remove from junior golf overnight, it is this: that the number on the scorecard at the end of a junior tournament tells you anything meaningful about how a young player is developing. It almost never does.
"The scorecard cannot tell you whether a child played safely within what they already knew, or bravely outside it. And that distinction matters more than the number itself."
