We are officially up and running with the new block of classes and what a start it has been.
The feedback from the first sessions has been brilliant. The children took to the indoor venues immediately. The controlled environment, the purpose-built setups, the energy in the room. It is exactly the kind of space that lets children get fully absorbed in what they are doing, without distraction.
Watching a two-year-old completely lose themselves in a task, oblivious to everything else around them, is one of the great joys of this programme. And from what we have seen this week, there has been plenty of that.
Why Indoors Makes a Difference
Indoor venues give us something the outdoor environment cannot always guarantee: complete consistency. The same setup, the same environment, the same conditions every single week. For young children, that predictability is genuinely developmental. It means more cognitive bandwidth freed up for learning, exploration, and fun.
No wind, no sun glare, no heat. Just space, equipment, and children doing what they do best. Playing with purpose.

The Montessori of Golf
This week I published a piece that I think a lot of you will find interesting, particularly those who have chosen a Montessori environment for your child's early education.
The argument I make is that early years golf development and Montessori philosophy share a great deal of their DNA. Child-led exploration, the prepared environment, the adult as guide rather than instructor, learning through doing rather than being told. If you already understand why Montessori works, you already understand why this programme works the way it does. You just have not seen those principles applied to physical development before.
